I think the 5th word should have been 11-1-8. Solved it!! Great post!

The very last message in code from Ovaltine came in 2000. There is no reference to Captain Midnight anywhere on the ring, mailer or paperwork. If you sent in a label from a jar of Ovaltine you were sent a copper colored decoder ring! With the ring came paperwork that included a code to be decoded with the ring then sent back to Ovaltine to possibly win a prize.                                                 
The code is 12-7   3-24-5   19-20-12   18-8-21-24-21-11   11-18   11-20-21-11-8   7-2   18-24-19-1   19-1-7-19-7-22-20-11-8   7-26-20-22-11-24-12-8 
A master code was NOT given, you had to match up the letters and code until you found the correct order then decode the rest of the message! Not only is this the last signal session, it is the longest! Here is a hint, the last word has 8 letters, it is OVALTINE 

Pat, Gene Smith and I attended the Lone Ranger Festival in Oxford, Michigan today. We met the featured guests, Richard and Bob Daniel, grandsons of Brace Beemer, the radio Lone Ranger. Brace's only daughter, Barbara, was their mother. When I met Bob he called ME a legend! He graciously took us to lunch and showed us rare footage of their grandfather at personal appearances.
Bob is working on a documentary about his grandfather! Did you know that Brace Beemer was only 14 years old when he joined the army to fight in France in the First World War? He was in the army for about 2 years and matured quite a bit during that time!

This Saturday, AUGUST 2, 2014, in OXFORD, MICHIGAN, we are celebrating LONE RANGER DAYS and BRACE BEEMER! Shirley Russell will appear, child actress who played in Lone Ranger radio shows, panel discussion, parade at 11 AM. Top Lone Ranger authorities will appear in a question and answer session. Bob Daniels, Brace's grandson, will appear! Larry Zdeb, Dale Lopus and Eugene Smith will attend and participate!

Steve Adams was an Indian, raised by white settlers.
He met Packy McCloud, who later became his sidekick.
Packy told him of an old Indian legend where a great Indian wearing a gold arrowhead hung around his neck would come and save the Indian Tribes!
Steve showed Packy a golden arrowhead hanging around his neck, he was STRAIGHT ARROW!
He lives in a cave of gold, shoot gold arrows and ride a golden palomino!
His war cry is "Kaneewah, Fury!"

The Wander Company called them "trays" in their documents. They are the small cardboard open-top boxes that the 1948 & 1949 Code-O-Graphs came in. These were the only two years they were used, earlier Code-O-Graphs did not come in boxes!

Perhaps no one cares, but I have found a mistake in a 1946 Captain Midnight code message. It is the last word, I noticed it because the third letter of the first and last word is "A", yet in the script, both have a different number! Whoever wrote the script, switched the third and fourth numbers in the last word!  
The broadcast closes with a Secret Squadron Signal Session in Code G11.

Tom Moore, the announcer, would have read the script exactly as it was written. Any kid decoding the message might have thought that Ivan Shark was being brought to trial!    

Ovaltine did not sponsor every Captain Midnight radio episode from 1940-49.
Some episodes had the Ovaltine commercials replaced with public service announcements!

Sometimes Captain Midnight episodes resemble "The Shadow" broadcasts with evil scientists, ape men, and mad doctors!

In the August, 1946 Captain Midnight broadcasts, Ivan Shark is the mastermind of a plan to make a "germ bomb" that could silently kill millions of people. He had "Fingers" steal a test tube from Professor Matthews lab. The professor is working for the United States Government. Dr. Habib will try to develop the germ bomb for Ivan Shark but he needs to test it on a human. Rocco was chosen because he is kind of an ape man and will not be missed!

In the front part of the Ivan Shark's hacienda in South America, Dr. Habib is angry with "Fingers" for not locking up the repulsive creature Rocco securely enough! After Rocco almost killed him, Habib locked him in the only room with a double lock. The room has a balcony so the two men think they should check to see if Rocco has escaped.                            

They enter the room and find Rocco strangling a couple of kids who had broken in through the balcony and happened to enter Rocco's room! At the point of a gun, Fingers orders Rocco to let them go and he drops the two unconscious individuals to the floor! Habib examines them and they are still alive! Fingers recognizes them as two of the Secret Squadron agents, Ramsay and Miss Ryan! They were there to find the test tube containing Professor Mathews' serum to use as evidence against Shark!                                                

Habib says that Rocco is not an ideal subject for the experiment with the serum. He is not an ordinary man and his reactions may be abnormal! However, these two Secret Squadron Agents would be preferable, the effects of the virus could be double-checked! If the deadly power of the serum has been generated by the process he has just completed, and injected into his human guinea pigs, Chuck and Joyce will be infected immediately by an incurable disease! If the experiment fails, they can still rid themselves of them!                  

Fingers takes the boy and Habib takes the girl, both still unconscious, to the laboratory! They will be inoculated with the serum and by the time they regain consciousness, the symptoms of the disease will already be apparent! Fingers stands guard over them while Habib pours a few drops of thick, brown liquid from a test tube into the bulb of a syringe. He adjusts the long needle, orders Fingers to roll up their left sleeves and he injects them with the serum! They wait to see the first symptoms of the disease!
